A young cub tiger cub resting in the forest of Bandhavgarh Tiger Preserve, National Park, India.
Tiger cubs, weaned from their mother’s milk around 3-5 months of age, typically stay with their mothers until they’re about 18 months - 2 years old, and then head out on their own. I hope this young tiger is doing well.
