The Tetons Oxbow Bend, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.
Oxbow Bend, just off highway 89/191 between Jackson Lake Junction and Moran Junction is a popular overlook. An oxbow is a crescent-shaped section of river lying alongside a flowing, winding river. The oxbow is created over time as erosion and deposits of soil change the river's course. Grand Tetons sunrise, Oxbow Bend, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Photo © copyright by Carl Donohue.
