The female White-tailed Ptarmigan is a hardy and adaptable bird native to the rugged landscape of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska.
With a distinctive mottled grey and white plumage, the White-tailed Ptarmigan is a master of camouflage, able to blend seamlessly into the rocky terrain.
