The Male Spruce Grouse is a beautiful and distinctive bird that is native to the forests of Katmai National Park in Alaska. With its distinctive barred plumage and fluffy red "beard," the Spruce Grouse is a striking sight to behold in the wild.
As a forest-dwelling bird, the Spruce Grouse is well adapted to life in the trees, where it feeds on a diet of buds, leaves, and berries.
