Bushplane takeoff on floats Gates of the Arctic
Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve
A commercial air taxi taking off while picking backpackers up from Circle Lake for an Arrigetch Peaks backpacking trip. The plane is an Otter, an excellent plane for hauling people in the Alaska backcountry. Putting the plane on floats allows drop-offs and pickups from lakes and rivers.
