Alaska brown bear with Sockeye Salmon
A young coastal brown bear with a recently caught Sockeye Salmon.
Brown bears along the coast enjoy a rich salmon diet and can grow to enormous size because of this. Brown bears well over 1000lbs are not uncommon in the fall when they’re at their heaviest.
