Alpenglow on Denali, Mt. McKinley, Denali National Park, Alaska. The peak, or summit of "Denali", or Mt. McKinley, is over 20 000 feet above sea level, and this mountain is the highest mountain in North America. As such, on a clear morning it catches the very first of the sun's rays, painting the mountain and sky behind it a paste and magenta color, called alpenglow. Mt. McKinley, Denali National Park, Alaska.
