Mountain Laurel blooms along Sope Creek, near the Chattahoochee National Forest. The Chattahoochee National forest runs along the corridor of the Chattahoochee River, and offers some protected habitat for wildlife and plants, as well as hiking and biking trails and recreation activties for thousands of people.
