Polar bears (Ursus maritimus), playfighting, standing and wrestling on fresh snow in Arctic Alaska. Outside the breeding season, male polar bears do not produce enough testosterone to be overly aggressive toward one another, and often engage in casual, friendly wrestling matches as they await the sea ice to form. Polar bears of the Southern Beaufort Sea population in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska.
